Matthew 7:13-14 NASB “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it."We were called to a structure fire but getting to it was nearly impossible! Today's verse speaks to us about the narrow gate, and how there are only a few who find it! When we arrived on scene, we found the path to the fire building almost impossible to get through. There were cars parked in the driveway, debris scattered about while the house on fire was down the alleyway. Struggling to get over the cars and past the debris was difficult but we were called to be firefighters and get the fire out. There are many times in life, when the path to Jesus Christ will seem blocked, but if we persist, and keep moving forward, we will find Him. Don't let the difficult road keep us from Christ! Yes, we got to the house and put the fire out because we remained faithful to our calling, so can you! peace, tom
