John 8:12 NASB "Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."He needs the flashlight! Today's verse is about Light and darkness, one will help while the other offers nothing! One of my grandsons loves to play in our boat. He always likes to go under the front deck but before he heads in, he asks me for a flashlight. Although he is only 2 years old, he knows that the difference between light and darkness and doesn't like to be in the dark! Life can be pretty dark for us and that's all the more reason we need the Light of Christ. Jesus wants nothing more than to light the way for us in a darkened world. I can give my grandson the flashlight but he has to turn it on. Have we turned on the Light of Christ in our lives?! peace, tom
