Ephesians 6:11 (NASB) Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil!I thought I was well protected, but there was one spot open and sure enough the spark fell there! Today's verse shares about putting on the full armor of God so that we are protected and able to stand firm against satan! I started dancing around as the spark from my welder's torch had fallen into that one unprotected spot. I could feel the burn and realized that there would be a scar once the spark healed! Satan wants nothing more than to harm us, burn us, cause us pain but if we put on the whole armor of God, (found in Chapter 6 of Ephesians) we can stand firm and not be hurt by his lies. The key of course, just like my welding protection, is to have it completely on and not just part of it. The question for the day is...are we fully protected or is there a gap in our armor of God?! Make sure cause even a little spark can cause pain and lead to a massive burn! peace, tom
