2 Corinthians 12:10 (NASB) "Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong."At first I tried to fight it but as I came to realize that it was going to be ok! Working on a recent project, I came to realize that I wasn't a young man any longer, my body was beginning to give out and there was soreness and pain where it never was before. Today's verse Paul shares with us that he was content with the difficulties of life, weakness, insults, distress, persecution for Christ because he became aware that when he was weak, Christ was stronger in him! No one likes to admit that age becomes a factor in doing the things we did before but that doesn't mean we have to stop. We need to use that old saying "work smarter not harder!". When we face difficulties in our walk with Christ, we can find strength in Him that things will go well. Giving up the reins of our life to Christ is difficult and may be painful but when we humble ourselves and find ourselves weak, we can find new strength in Him. Repeat after me, when I am weak, I am stronger with Christ! peace, tom
