John 8:32 NASB "and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."It was almost as if the great weight was lifted off him! Today's verse, while rather simple, speaks about freedom! He sat and cried, and cried! He had spent years in a lie, and finally had come clean to himself, and his wife! One of the men in our morning group had been living a lie, cheating on his wife but the more he came and the more he heard the Truth, the more he needed to be free. Repenting before God and His Wife and even the guys in the group, opened his world to freedom. He knew he had sinned, and wanted to find the freedom in Christ to stop living a lie. Many times we lie to ourselves until finally we see the sin in our life and come clean. Years later, his relationship with his wife is stronger, and his relationship with God is even stronger to where he uses his life to share the Truth and how it has set him free. Let's come clean guys and find freedom in the Truth! peace, tom
