1 Corinthians 9:24 NASB "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win."Did you see the crash? Today's verse is about running the race, not just participating in the race but running to win! I have been watching the "Tour de France" and have seen some pretty ugly spills. Some of them were caused by the riders themselves, some by the road conditions and some by bystanders getting in the way and yet no matter which way the riders fell, they couldn't wait to get back on their bikes to finish the race, each hoping they could win. Believe it or not the "Tour de France" is a team sport, many riders riding for the team and not just themselves. Living life can find us falling from time to time, the key is whether or not we get up and get back in the race. and the prize we receive will be given as we face the Lord face to face, so keep peddling out there and be careful cause there will be times when we fall but we can find strength in Christ to get up and get moving!
