Genesis 2:15 NASB "Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and tend it."If I let it go, even for a day, they grow like weeds! Today's verse, while rather simple, speaks about man and cultivating and taking care of those things in life that need our attention! I guess they grow like weeds because they are weeds! lol. I love to garden but that means that each day, I need to go and pull the weeds that begin to grow and steal the nutrients in the soil that the vegetable plants need, so they must go. There are things in our life that need to be pulled, gotten rid of, thrown in the garbage pile that are stealing away the nutrients that we need to live for God. We can't let them go even for a day or else they will grow and it will be harder to get rid of them. Let's pull the weeds in our life when they are small and manageable before they take hold and grow deep to where they are harder to get rid of! peace, tom
