2 Peter 3:17 (NASB) "You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,"The more boards we pulled off, the more damage we found! While repairing a structure that was badly damaged by insects and water, we found that with each board connected to the ones damaged, they became damaged as well! Today's verse shares with us about being on guard and not carried away by being associated with those who are unprincipled, falling away from the Truth! The wall was completely ruined due to the damage from a faulty roof and gutter system, therefore the entire wall had to be removed. In life, we can fall into the "group mentality" and wind up in the wrong crowd, at the wrong time, doing the wrong thing. The damage on the structure eventually ate away the very foundation. If we allow ourselves to follow the wrong crowd, we may lose our foundation and that is a bad thing.  Let us build and remain strong and useful on the foundation of Jesus Christ and not the world! peace, tom
