Hebrews 12:11 NASB "For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.""This is going to hurt me more than it will you! Today's Fathering Message is about discipline and the verse for today speaks right to the point! As my father began to discipline me, he uttered the words "this is going to hurt me more than you!". I couldn't understand that until I had daughters of my own and realized that it does hurt when we have to discipline those we love. Years later, that discipline has helped me grow as a man. We must remember today's verse that for the moment, discipline is not pleasant but it will yield a well trained and peaceful man.
