2 Timothy 2:15 NASB "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth."He simply asked me, "is that how you would do it at your own home?" Today's verse is about work, and how we need not be ashamed of our work but doing it accurately! As the job went on, the lead guy asked me a simple question, and my response needed to be yes. As we work, we need to be sure we are doing it as if we are working on our own homes, or our own place of business and not just doing it to get it done. Recently I had my SUV worked on and the work was not the best. I did return and asked the same question ask of me so many years ago, would you do it this way on your own vehicle! And that also goes for handling of God's Word, for it is the Word of Truth. How we handle God's Word speaks volumes into others lives! Let's do our best today! peace, tom
