Romans 12:17 (NASB) "Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men."After watching the recent events in our country, I couldn't help but think of a phrase my parents taught me when I was young! It's a simple phrase and maybe you've heard it - "TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE IT RIGHT! Today's verse speaks about paying back evil for evil, and respect and I have to wonder what God is thinking regarding His World and the people in it! I usually don't share about recent events because I don't have all the facts but watching a video, and seeing the riots, I think I have a pretty good handle on what's going on... simply put it's evil! Satan wants nothing more than man to hate man, this way he gets our mind off of Christ and the love shared on the Cross and what the Resurrection is truly all about. Let us, who know the Truth, speak calmly and clearly - what is wrong is wrong and doing two wrongs will never make it right! Join me in praying for our country - all of it, even those of a different color, race, background, social status and political party - God created all men and women in His Image, some of us have just lost our way!! Don't be one of them! Stay true to the Truth, it will set us all free! peace, tom
