Today 5-8-2020

Psalm 69:30 (NASB) "I will praise the name of God with song And magnify Him with thanksgiving."Waiting for the light to turn green, I glance over at the car on my left and found them laughing and pointing! At first I didn't realize they were laughing and pointing at me but then it occurred to me that I had been praising God.  With my radio rather loud (due to my hearing loss) I was lifting my hands and praising God through the song being played. I am sure to others I may have looked like a crazy man! LOL. Today's verse speaks to us about praising the name of our God with song and magnifying Him with thanksgiving! Even through this "social distancing" and "home stay" life style, we need to praise our God for the many blessings. Just getting up each day, the air we breath are some small reasons to praise Him. And if we go deeper with His Word, we will find many blessings and promises that come our way just because He loves us. Maybe it's time we love Him back... so let's praise Him today no matter who is laughing at us!! peace, tom
