Matthew 7:8 (NASB) "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."I could have given up but I knew it was there... somewhere! While working on a small motor, I happened to drop a bolt, the key was in finding where it had fallen! Todays verse speaks about asking and receiving, seeking and finding and knocking and it will be open for us. The longer it took to find the bolt the more intense the search was. I wanted to give up but I needed the bolt to finish the job and get things running right again so the search continued. I eventually found it and felt a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that I didn't give up. During this time of staying at home, many of us may be searching as the why or what to do now... how about searching our life for God, asking Him, seeking Him - all we need to do is knock and His Door will open up for us. The key, of course, is how hard are we searching for Him in our lives. Finding Him can bring satisfaction like nothing else and bring a newness to our life.
