Today 5-4-2020

2 Corinthians 5:7 (NASB) "for we walk by faith, not by sight"I just felt that if we kept going we would find him! Entering the burning building, I had this feeling that we should get to the second floor. Although the building was filling with smoke and fire, we couldn't see too far in front of us but I just felt we should keep going. Todays verse speaks about walking by faith and not by sight, easier said than done! Eventually we got to the second floor and found the man in the upstairs apartment. Getting him to safety, we took a moment and talked about how getting through the smoke and heat was more a matter of faith than sight. In life, with the "new normal" lifestyle, we need to be walking by faith. Faith that God is in control and we just need to keep moving forward. Changing a lifestyle, without knowing what tomorrow will bring, is living by faith. Let's put our faith in Christ and be encouraged that our faith in Him, and not ourselves, will get us through this! peace, tom
