Psalm 34:4 (NASB) "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears."I was in trouble and needed help so I called my dad and he came and helped me out! Today's verse gives us the place to go, the person to call upon when we are in trouble, when we are afraid, when we need help! There have been many times in my life, when the decisions I have made have led me into trouble. (you would think by now I would have learned to make better decisions but...) No matter what the circumstances, whether I was in trouble and feared about what I should do, I always found the comfort of my father's words and discipline! It's like that with God! We can call on Him at any time, about anything and He will answer us and deliver us from our fears! Now, not every time did my dad give me what I wanted but he gives me was is best for me, even if that is discipline to learn the lesson that brought me there! So don't expect God to get us out of the trouble we put ourselves into, without a word of discipline to go along with delivering us. Seek the Lord today, He will deliver us, but we have to make the call! peace, tom
