Psalm 121:2(NASB) "My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth."I truly believe today's verse, about our helping coming from the Lord but... I can sit all day waiting for the Lord to be my help in fixing my car, or having Him help me with my anger issues, but sooner or later I need to get off my prayer intentions and begin the work myself! Sometimes life can get overwhelming and we need help. Prayer is a great place to start but we must also listen to His Reply, like having the courage and strength to admit we need help. Even pastors and ministry leaders need to ask for help when the going gets rough and that's why God created not only heaven and earth but men to come alongside us as we do this thing called life. Praying with another man, being open and honest about how we are doing with the social distancing, not working, wearing masks, and dealing with the uncertainty of when things will get back to some sort of "normal" is asking for help. Don't go it alone, pray for God to lead us to the men to come alongside us even if it's in a zoom meeting, or a FaceTime call - and don't forget to reach out to that man God has put on your heart!! Our help does come from the Lord but we need to do our part too! peace, tom
