Today 3-3-2023

John 15:13 NASB "Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends."Once again they will line up! Today we learn the greatest things we can do for others. They will line up, stretching many city blocks. They will stand together, shoulder to shoulder, no matter what the weather brings. They will come from other departments to stand alongside each other and pay tribute to the one who gave the ultimate sacrifice. They do this, for a brother has fallen in a fire, who gave his life for others. No one ever talks about that part of the job but selflessly men and woman will run into burning buildings and be ready to lay down their life for others. It's what Jesus did for all of us. Take a moment and pray for the family of those fallen and pray for those who will this day go headlong into the flames to save another. peace, tom
