Today 3-2-2023

Galatians 6:2 NASB "Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ."We've all been there! Today we read about bearing each other's burdens and fulfilling the law of Christ! He walked into my office and sat down. He didn't say anything at first but I could tell he was struggling. As I began to ask him questions, the dam broke. He began to cry and sob and tell me what had been going on in his life. He needed a shoulder to cry on, to lean on, to unload the baggage that he had been carrying for so long and he needed someone not to judge him but to listen and pray with him. Although I had a long list of things I wanted to get done that day, and listening wasn't on it, I got more done in those hours than I could ever have done with "my" list. For to fulfill the law of Christ is to love others as Jesus loved us! No matter what we have on our "to do" list, let's always leave room for someone else! peace, tom
