Today 3-1-2023

Matthew 5:9 NASB "“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God."They are needed more than ever! Today's Verse speaks volumes for what is needed in the world today! I happened to be watching from a distance, two young boys arguing. No sooner did it start to turn ugly when one of their fathers stepped in. He knelt down and began to speak to the boys. I wasn't close enough to hear what he said but what I saw showed me that he was a peacemaker for the two boys shook hands!  I remembered when my father made my brother and I shake hands after we had a fight. Although I didn't really want to, the shaking of my brothers hand made a difference in what we were fighting about.  Let's be a peacemaker out there, for the world seems to be fighting a lot lately! peace, tom
