Hebrews 12:1 NASB "Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us,"I was in awe of who they were and what they did! Today we read about being surrounded by those who witness Jesus Christ. I remember standing there, rookie school, and listening to the stories of the men who had fought the fires, did the rescues, and went on first aid calls. I had grown up with a dad who was one of them and I felt a a responsibility to keep up the tradition of being those not afraid to risk their lives for others. Surrounding ourselves with those who will support us, challenge us, and watch our backs is key to keeping focus on the important things of life. The question is... who are you surrounded by?!
