Luke 24:38 NASB "And He said to them, “Why are you frightened, and why are doubts arising in your hearts?"It was a beautiful pass, but there was a problem with it! Today we read about fear and doubt, two things that can hold us back from moving forward! It was 0-0 when I made a beautiful pass at my recent hockey game, the only problem was that I put the pass right on the stick of a player from the other team. He scored and we lost the game 0-1! As I went back to the locker room, I thought about giving up playing hockey. Maybe I was too old, too slow, to quick to make a bad decision, the doubts kept coming! Then in the locker room, as the guys were giving me the business, one man reminded me that I had stop a goal earlier in the game. The doubt began to leave and I vowed to be better! Doubts and fear are apart of life but when we have Jesus in our corner, we can move past the fear, past the doubt and rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. No matter what the score, we are winners with Jesus. Let it go, so we can move forward in Him! peace, tom
