1 Peter 4:12 NASB "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though something strange were happening to you;""You didn't think it would be easy did you?!" Today's Word tells us plainly that life will be a fiery ordeal and not to be surprised by it! I thought it was going to be a simple repair, but boy was I wrong. While working with a customer on what I thought would have been an "in and out" job, turned into a bit of a nightmare! It seemed at every turn we ran into another mess that needed to be fixed before we could move on to fixing the original problem. Life has those days and maybe even weeks when we keep facing fiery ordeals to deal with. The keys to getting through them is not to be surprised because we know that they will come that way and two is to make sure we pass the test. Having God's Word in our hearts and minds, and walking by the Spirit are two things we need in order to get through the fire. The question is do we have them? Well, do ya' ? peace, tom
