Proverbs 15:18 NASB "A hot-tempered person stirs up strife, But the slow to anger calms a dispute."Don't I know it, maybe you do too! Today's verse speaks about the difference between an angry person and one who is slow to anger - a big difference in how we deal with others! Looking back at how my anger would cause situations to be worse makes me wish I had let Christ have the victory in me sooner. Today, when conflict arises, I find the peace of Christ to rule in me rather than the anger of years past. Humbling myself before Him and realizing that I need His Strength each day, to be a calming voice in a chaotic world, brings resolutions to problems rather than creating bigger ones! The question for today is do we bring strife upon ourselves and others or are we a calming influence by bringing Christ to every situation we encounter?!
