1 Corinthians 14:33 NASB "for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."Somewhere along the way, I lost the peace! Today's verse, though simple, should speak volumes into our life! It got to the point where I wasn't even sure which way to turn. I had been running from this project to that, trying to get them all done when all of sudden I found myself looking for the peace, not the piece I needed. I had to stop, stop it all for a second and realize that with everything going on, all I was trying to get done, that I was making myself crazy. The things I was doing weren't getting done right, they were getting done but I had lost the joy of doing them for I love to work but not at that pace! Stepping back, and taking a moment to realize that I am not God, and that He is in control, gave me back my priorities. Life can be confusing, but if we stop and take a good look at what and how we are trying to live, can give us back the peace of the Lord. Don't be afraid to stop for a moment and ask God to give you back your peace in Him, it's really not that confusing when we do it and we will find the joy we had been missing! Peace, tom
