Revelation 20:15 NASB "And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."I had dusted them off a few times but finally got around to going through the many books on my bookshelves! I came across one and opened the front cover and there I found a message written to me by the author!  Today's verse speaks to us about the Book of Life and how if our name is not found in the book, we will be thrown into the lake of fire! As I read the message from the author, I found myself thinking back to when I met him and his words of encouragement at a time in my life when I need that little extra push to keep going. There is no better place to go for help than God's Book, the Bible, but there is also no better place to have our name written than in the book of life. Getting our name there takes repentance, and turning to Christ as our Lord and Savior! BTW, when I send these devotions out, I pray for all who read them, that they will have their name written in the Book of Life! Help my prayer become answered and say YES to Jesus! I'd rather have you with me in heaven then in the lake of fire! peace, tom
