Today 1-6-2021

Joel 3:10 NASB "Beat your plowshares into swords, And your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak man say, “I am a warrior.”"I had to find a way to get it done! Today's verse is a pretty strong verse in regards to getting ready for battle, but the weak man will say "I am a warrior!" I wasn't going into battle but I was struggling to get the brake job done on my vehicle. the only problem was that I needed a special tool to help get it done but you know how those things always break on a Sunday when the stores are closed!! LOL - I ended up creating the tool and after getting the job done, I felt I had won the battle, I was a warrior! In life, we will struggle, it's a given fact, but the key is whether, through the strength of God, we will be warriors for the cause of Christ?! Finding ways to turn our plowshares into swords and our pruning hooks into spears means that we will seek ways of the Lord and in His Word to have the tools to fight the battle! So, the question is, are we armed for battle with the tools of the Lord, are we warriors for Christ and those in need?! peace, tom
