Today 1-3-2022

2 Peter 3:13 NASB "But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells."We won't find it here! Today's Word speaks about looking for a place where things are right! We were asked to find the customer's order and after searching the back room, we couldn't find it there. One of guys said "we won't find it here, but there is a place where we put old orders, maybe it's there?" Sure enough, we found it and the customer was given his order. We may be searching for that place of contentment, joy and no pain, happiness with out going through sadness, but that place isn't here on earth. It will come one day when Jesus returns to take us home. The key is what we do while we wait for Him. We can live in the knowledge of where the new heavens and new earth are, that is with Jesus. Like the one guy knew, that it wasn't here but he knew where it was, we too can live that way by sharing Jesus and that place of righteousness! peace, tom
