Today 1-24-2024

1 Corinthians 16:13 NASB "Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."What if...! Today we read a verse speaking directly to the men! Having watched the NFL playoff games, I saw them again. Men willing to stand, with no shirts on, in subfreezing temperatures, routing for their home team! They were dedicated that no matter what, they were going to stand strong and support their local team!  I wondered to myself, "what if". What if we had men like that willing to stand with their local church and pastor. Men willing to brave the elements for Jesus in such a way that others may just say we are crazy. I am not saying to show up next Sunday at service without a shirt on but show up as today's verse states "on alert, standing firm, acting like men and being strong."
