Jeremiah 33:3 NASB "Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know."It was a new product and as we began to install it, we needed to call the company for some of our questions! Today we are told to call out to God, that He will answer us, and tell us great and might things! As we put the product together, we started having questions about certain parts and needed answers. Making the call to the company who designed it and made it, cleared up the confusion we had. Admitting that we need help isn't a sign of weakness, but actually strength in admitting that we don't have all the answers. I would rather call out and get the answers than fumble through and make things worse. In life we will have those times when we need God's help, to ask Him what's best, He will answer but we need to do the asking! Call out to Him today and get the answers of great and mighty things we don't know! peace, tom

Hebrews 12:11 NASB "For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness."The look in their eyes brought back memories of my childhood! Today we read a verse that shares about discipline and although it's not pleasant but painful, there will come a day when it yields peace! Both of my grandsons looked up at me with tears in their eyes because I had to teach them that we couldn't do what they wanted - it was dangerous and they could have gotten hurt. They didn't understand that it was in their best interest that I said "no"! I remembered having those same eyes as my father had said no to me as I grew up wanting to do something where I would have gotten hurt. Sometimes God says "no" to us, keeps us on different path because He is protecting us from harm. We may not understand but one day, as we mature in Him, we will see it was for our best interest and we will find the peace. Sure it's hard to say no to our children, but one day they will thank us for it. Maybe today is a good day to thank God for His Discipline?! peace, tom
