Luke 1:37 NASB "For nothing will be impossible with God.”I couldn't do it on my own strength, I needed Him! Today's verse is a great one to remember when we face things that we think are impossible! Having been hit by the stomach bug, I had no strength, no ambition, no energy but I knew it needed to get done! I found myself praying with my wife for the strength to get up and get it done. Not sure what we would encounter as we headed to the problem, we moved forward! When we got there, it wasn't as bad as we thought and God brought other men to help. It was completed in a timely fashion so I could get back on the couch and rest! God does the impossible, we just need to let Him do His Thing so we can do ours! Prayer and trusting in God can make the hardest jobs seem easy, we just need to call out to Him! Give Him a call today, He's always ready to help! peace, tom

Psalm 103:13 NASB "Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.'I happened to look out just as it blew away! Today's Word speaks to us father's and how our Heavenly Father has compassion for us! Just as I looked, the balloon began to fly away. It was held by a little girl walking with her dad and somehow she lost the grip on it and it blew away. I could tell that she was crying and upset. The father bent down, wiped her tears and picked her up and gave her a big hug! Although the pain and sadness was still there, she found comfort in her father. Our Heavenly Father feels and does the same thing. He wants to wipe away our tears and pick us up when things don't go the way we thought they would. Don't give up on God cause He will never give up on us and learn how to be better dads by the way we are comforted by Him. peace, tom
