James 1:2 NASB "Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials,"No one really likes a challenge! Today's verse seems almost ridiculous, to consider it joy to face trials! As we continued to finish the project, we ran into trial after trial. Each time we tried a different solution, we ran into the same result, which wasn't getting the project completed. We needed to change our mindset and look at each trial as a new opportunity to learn not what to do. Our final attempt, after learning from each earlier mistake, made the difference, and the job was completed. In life, we will face those trials that will test us, to see whether we give up or try again, learning from our mistakes. Thank God, He doesn't hold our mistakes against us but allows us the forgiveness offered by the life and death of His Son. If your facing a trial, try and find the joy of Christ, in learning from the mistakes and challenge ourselves to keep on keeping on! peace, tom
