John 8:12 NASB "Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."Follow me, he said as we entered! Today's verse speaks of life, and how if we follow Christ, we will not walk in darkness. Although the building was filled with heat and smoke, my officer and I began to enter the building. Before we went in, he said two words to me "follow me". Putting our trust in another human being can be a scary thing, where will they lead us, where will we end up. Many questions will come but we won't know the answers unless we follow them. Jesus speaks plainly, that if we follow Him, we will not walk in darkness. We will gain an understanding, a wisdom the world may not understand. We eventually found the seat of the fire and put it out and walked away unharmed. Following Christ will always leave us better than if we don't follow Him. It may be called "blind faith' but I'd rather put my trust and faith in Him, than myself! How about YOU?! peace, tom
