Luke 24:45 NASB "Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,"Sometimes we need a little help! Today's Word is about Jesus helping them understand the Scriptures! I couldn't grasp what he was teaching us, so after class ended, I went up and asked him to explain it. He made is simple so I could understand what he taught us during class. Many times we let fear or embarrassment keep us from admitting we just don't understand. There's no shame in saying we don't get it and need more to understand. The disciples weren't afraid to ask Jesus for help in understanding God's Word and we shouldn't be either. Asking for help in understanding something can make the difference between really knowing or just faking it. Don't fake it today, ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten our minds to what God is speaking to us through His Word - that's if we are reading it!! peace, tom
