Deuteronomy 11:19 NASB "You shall also teach them to your sons and daughters, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up."It's not just in the classroom! Today we get some instructions about teaching our children, and not just in school! While many children head back to the classroom this week, we must never forget that the world is a classroom. We can teach them lessons of life, lessons of nature, lessons of God if we take the time to be with them. I remember as a young boy, going on a fishing trip with my dad, and he would ask me to recite my times table - remember them 2x2=4, 2x3=6 and so on. There are always moments where we can teach our children, so let's not be so preoccupied with ourselves that we forget to teach our children. Let's keep those children and their schools and teachers in prayer! peace, tom
