James 1:5 NASB "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him."I remember going through the checklist and making sure I had all the things I needed! Today's verse shares about where we can get wisdom, it's from God and all we need to do is ask for it! I remember sitting with my mom and going over the check list for starting school. Pencils - check, notebook - check, lunch box - check and on and on. I also remember her praying that my mind would be open to learn, learn things that I never knew, learn about things like respect, honor, but sadly those things seem to be lost in schools today. Join me in praying for all those who are beginning school, that their minds will be open to the Truth and lets pray for the teachers who will lead them in gaining knowledge. And how about a prayer for the mothers of those going to school for the first time as they will miss their little ones! peace, tom
