1 Chronicles 16:11 NASB "Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually."Taking my 2 year old grandson to the store meant that I needed to keep an eye on him! Being an energetic little boy meant that he was everywhere at a moments notice. I needed to may sure that I kept him in my eyesight every moment. Today's verse speaks to us about seeking the Lord and His Strength and how we should seek it continually! I remembered going shopping with one of my daughters many years ago and not really paying attention to her as I shopped, it was then that I realized I lost her. Frantically searching, I found her under the clothes rack, and thanked God she was ok. Seeking God continually means not having that moment of fear in our life of losing touch with Him. Keeping any eye on my grandson meant that I wouldn't have to feel the anxiety of not knowing where he was. The same can be said of our walk with Christ, keeping in constant contact is better than searching with fear of not finding Him. peace, tom
