1 Peter 4:10 NASB "As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God." A plumber wouldn't do! Today's Word speaks of our special gift and using it to serve! When the power went out, we didn't call a plumber, but an electrician to fix the problem! Each of us have been given special gifts that need to be used in serving others. When we don't use them, someone else will have to step up and in our place - the only problem is that they may not have the skills or knowledge to get the job done. Doing a recent home remodeling project, I realized the many different tools needed to get the job done, and having the knowledge to use them can make the difference between getting the job done right or not done at all. Each of us need to bring our knowledge and skills in serving others not ourselves! Come on guys, let's get 'er done! peace, tom
