John 16:22 NASB "Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one is going to take your joy away from you." It's been two years but I still feel him all around. Today's Word is for anyone who has had a loved one pass away. It speaks of seeing them again and being filled with joy, that can not be taken away. As I began to think of seeing my father again, when we meet in heaven, I realized that I was more excited to see him than HIM! I needed to adjust my thoughts to where meeting Jesus face to face is more important than seeing my dad again. Sure I miss him, but he is all around me, in the people I still meet whose lives were impacted by him, in some of his tools and trains I have, in the memories as I sit and fish. I can only imagine what those early disciples thought when Jesus returned to heaven. Three years they were with Him, and He too was still with them through the power of the Holy Spirit. Let's not forget our loved ones but keep in mind, Jesus loves us too! peace, tom
