1 John 1:9 NASB "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I had to come clean! Today's Word is about forgiveness and getting clean! I knew I did it wrong, but I had the choice to either try and hide it or be honest and admit I had done it wrong. I went into the supervisor's office and came clean - I told him exactly how I had messed the project up. On the way there, I kept telling myself that it was better to be honest than to try and hide the fact that I messed up. I was disciplined but able to keep my job and was grateful for the understanding that I had made a mistake. In life, our mistakes can be called sin and when we are honest with God about them, He will forgive us - the key of course is being honest about what we have done. Don't live in the guilt of sin, be honest and be truthful about our sin so that He can set us free! peace, tom
