Acts 10:2 NASB "a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God."Could they say that about us?! Today's Word gives us a look at what a godly man should be like. As the men gathered together, they began to talk about the one guy who was missing from the group. Some of the comments were less than flattering about the lifestyle he was leading. Men began to pray for him and some even went so far as to say they were going to reach out and talk to him in private. I got to thinking "what would they say about us?". Even Jesus asked "who do they say that I am" - it may be good to check from time to time to see what our witness of Jesus is really all about - find an honest friend and ask them "am I a devoted man, generous in my giving, and do I pray without ceasing"?! peace, tom
