Today 8-13-2024

Philippians 4:4 NASB "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!" We rejoiced! Today's verse is rather simple but so hard for many of us to do! What a day it was, Church family picnic then off to the fair with some of the grandkids. Sure, at the end of the day, we were exhausted but when we looked back at the day, we found many opportunities to rejoice in the Lord. Little things like, playing a game of dominoes, sharing a meal with someone from our church family, to checking out the new born calfs, to eating "Fair Food", to sneaking some cotton candy when no one was looking. Taking time in life to enjoy life is never a bad thing. In fact, we need to do it more often as God continues to bless us. We may not have tomorrow so enjoying the blessings of today is a great way to rejoice, again, I say rejoice in the Lord! peace, tom
