1 Peter 2:16 NASB "Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond-servants of God."It's what we do with it that matters! Today's verse is about freedom and as we celebrate the independence of the United States, let us remember that freedom comes with a cost! To sit back and enjoy family and fire works and not realize the many lives given for our freedom is just plain wrong. There is a cost to freedom so we do not want to take advantage of this freedom without thinking of the many who gave their lives for the freedoms we have. One of those freedoms is the freedom of religion - or should I say the freedom of a relationship with Jesus. He gave His Life so that we may be free to accept Him as Lord and Savior.
