Today 7-2-2024

1 Peter 2:16 NASB "Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond-servants of God." I couldn't wait for the school year to end! Today's Word is about freedom and to be sure we do not use it for evil! It wasn't that school wasn't a good experience, it was the fact that I cared more about getting out than being in school, so when the school year ended, I couldn't wait to be free from classes! Once free from school, I was able to do what I wanted to do, to enjoy the summer months hanging out with the guys in the neighborhood. While we played many games like baseball, football and soccer, there were those times we got into trouble for doing something that we shouldn't have been doing. There were even a few times that the police had to be called. Freedom and what we do with it always comes down to choice. We can choose to use our freedom for God's Glory or we can choose to use it for evil - the choice is ours - let's choose wisely my friends! peace, tom
