Philippians 1:6 ESV "And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."I gave up too early! Today's Word speaks to us that God will bring our good work to completion! I was half way through the job when I decided to give up. The cost of the job was too great and I just flat out gave up. Years later, I returned to that project to see it only half done and felt the pain of giving up. I was determined this time to finish the job, get it done, so I went to work on it. Many times in life, we give up too early. Whether the pain of the work is too much, or we just lose heart, we end, what we started, too early. Notice today's verse, it says that God who began a good work in us, will bring it to completion. When we rely on self, it may not get done, but when we rely on God, all things are possible. All we have to do is to keep putting one foot ahead of the other and before we know it, we will be looking back at a finished project. Let's not give up too early, in fact let's not give up at all and find strength in Jesus to "get it done!" peace, tom
