Ecclesiastes 7:20 NASB " Indeed, there is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and does not ever sin."If we are truly honest with ourselves, today's verse is gong to hurt! When we get to that place where we find ourselves thinking that all we do is right and we never examine our heart motive, we can find ourselves thinking that we never sin! For too long, I believed that my sin wasn't my fault. My anger, rage, outbursts of inappropriate behavior wasn't my fault. I tricked myself into believing that it was everyone else's fault. The reality was it was mine and I needed to own up and make it right. It's never easy to admit our failures, our sin, our pride but if we don't than we will never come to that place of needing a Savior in our life. When we recognize that we sin, we can then go to Jesus for forgiveness and get started on a new track, a new walk, a new way of life where honesty and truth rule the day! Let's be honest with the fact that we sin! peace, tom
