Proverbs 13:20 NASB "One who walks with wise people will be wise, But a companion of fools will suffer harm."I surround myself with them! Today's verse, while rather simple, speaks volumes to who we have in our life! I love to ask them questions, why, how, when, what would you do differently! Having those in my life who can speak wisdom to me, makes my life easier. They have gone through things, where they have learned the hard lessons, and I get to learn what not to do, what to do and how best to do it. While sitting with the lead carpenter on the job site, I began to just watch him. What he did, how he did it taught me volumes about the trade. Sitting with a pastor friend, I learned more about the Bible by just listening! Make sure we surround ourselves with those who will teach us, give us wisdom, and help us be better! peace, tom
