Romans 10:17 NASB "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ." He had to tell me twice and I still didn't get it! Today's Word is about faith and hearing, without one, we may not have the other! I thought I heard him the first time but when he came to my side, he said it again. It wasn't until the third time did I finally understand what he was trying to say to me. There was nothing wrong with his voice, it was the fact that I wasn't hearing what he was saying. We can listen and not hear! I know that seems kind of crazy but there is one thing to listen and another to really hear what is being said. The result of truly hearing is by how we live what we heard. Many times I have to read God's Word a second or third time to get what He's trying to tell me. And as I finally get it, my faith is made stronger. Make sure we not only read God's Word but hear what He is trying to say to us! Maybe it's time we clean out our ears a little better! peace, tom
