Psalm 31:24 NASB "Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who wait for the Lord."It didn't happen right away! Today's verse is about being strong and taking courage and waiting on the Lord. For some it happens right away, but for others, like myself, it takes time. I am speaking of letting God have control of our lives. I think it's a trust issue we have, when we don't allow it to happen right away but giving God total control of our lives can take some time. Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior is one thing but living that way may take courage to let go of who we are and what we believed to be true. Some of us need to search the Scriptures daily to see the blessings God has for us. We need to talk to Him daily, (that's prayer) in order to find out that He really does care about us and wants nothing but the best for us. The key of course is waiting patiently with courage to allow Him to have control. So, today take courage, He is in control! peace, tom
