Philippians 4:7 NASB "And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."Sometimes I just need to sit back and let God do His Thing! Today's Word teaches us that the peace of God will be beyond our understanding! I could feel the nerves in my body begin to shake. I was deep in a situation that looked hopeless and then I remembered today's verse. I began to pray for God's peace to guard my heart and mind. The more I focused on God, the less I focused on the situation and the nerves I was feeling. I got to the point where no matter what happened, God was in control. Giving Him total control takes more than just a quick prayer, it takes our minds to focus on God totally and letting go of what we think is best. He got me out of the situation just fine, and I came away with a better understanding of His Peace and guidance. Let's not try to go it alone but turn our worries and anxiety over to Him, and that's total peace, no matter what! peace, tom
