Malachi 4:6a NASB "He will turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers,"No matter what, he loved me! Today's verse shares that no matter what, there can be reconciliation! It didn't matter how long ago it happened, it didn't matter that we haven't spoke in years, it doesn't matter what yesterday was like - today is a new day with hope that fathers and children can reunite in the love of Christ. Yeah it may mean we have to swallow our pride, give up wanting to them to come to us. Whether we are the fathers or the children, make this year's Father's Day a day to return our hearts to each other. Forgiveness is such a blessing and can start a new relationship with each other so let's forgive, forget and get back to loving our children and our fathers! For some of us, our dads are no longer with us but we can find comfort in God our Father this Father's Day - lets honor Him as the greatest Father of all. Happy Father's Day guys! peace, tom.
